Job Title:                     Digital Media Specialist

Report to:                   Business Development Manager

Purpose:

The Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for managing the social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. He/ She is also responsible for helping in the design of events’ flyers, brochures’ covers, ID cards…. etc. Their role is to develop, implement, and optimize digital campaigns across social media platforms and the website. He/she will also communicate directly with the press, Photographer, and Videographer to make a whole coverage to the events.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and manage engaging digital media campaigns across platforms (e.g., Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and website)
  • Stay up to date with digital media trends, best practices, and platform updates
  • Monitor social media channels & respond to messages, and recommend improvements based on data insights.
  • Coordinate, and manage graphical content for all of platforms, including websites, printed media, social media, electronic newsletters, product design, displays, and productions for the organization and its clients
  • Contribute to team effort by helping with other projects as needed
  • Upload regular posts on social media pages and website
  • Post photos and manage content on social media and website
  • Upload events’ videos on BEBA YouTube channel
  • Create marketing plan for BEBA business missions on social media platforms
  • Create and present regular lead generation analytics reports, and provide insight for improvement
  • Support Marketing and Communications in posting press releases on regular basis.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Printers etc.) on production of marketing materials and assets
  • Provide support for events and functions
  • To provide digital marketing content management goals and to keep track of the publication schedule
  • Make the necessary reporting so that digital marketing goals can be achieved.
  • Build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Research advertising trends and competitors’ pricing and products
  • Execute projects with the team to create content
  • Contribute to the creation of creative marketing campaigns across social media, the company website, email, and other platforms.
  • Work with outside vendors to supplement the work as needed

Job Specifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or related field

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in lead generation/acquisition marketing
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Strong eye for detail and basic graphic design skills
  • Sophisticated oral communication skills, as well as social media knowledges.
  • Creative problem solver with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints, demonstrate an interest in continuous improvement of self and the organization
