We are pleased to invite you to a session on Data Privacy in Egypt, focusing on the Egyptian Data Privacy Law and its Executive Regulations & their practical implications for companies operating in Egypt, particularly those that process large volumes of personal data.
The event will be held at the Sofitel Hotel (former Conrad) Nile Ballroom from 9:30-12:00 Noon
The discussion will explore how the recently issued Executive Regulations, together with the guidelines of the Personal Data Protection Center (PDPC), are shaping the implementation of Egypt’s data protection framework. The session will also address what these developments mean for organizations in practice and how they can effectively navigate emerging compliance requirements.
Particular attention will be given to key compliance considerations, including the appointment of Data Protection Officers, while examining how responsible data governance can support innovation and sustainable growth.
A keynote remarks will be followed by a panel discussion with representatives from various industries, offering diverse perspectives on the challenges and opportunities presented by Egypt’s evolving data protection landscape. The session will be moderated by Dr Ziad Bahaa El Din.
